Happy Birthday – We're 63 years old!

On 17 November 2025 our community celebrated 63 years here on Findhorn Bay in the north of Scotland!

There have been a lot of challenges this year, as we experience the effects of the Findhorn Foundation Trust, which has been a mainstay organisation in our community, winding down and passing on its assets. This has been coupled with the Findhorn Foundation SCIO appointing new trustees from the community, and it being offered as a potential vehicle to explore furthering the educational impulse of this place.

Happily, there’s reason to celebrate as various organisations and groupings find new ways to partner and collaborate, and we begin to move forward with new plans for 2026.

Of course we celebrated with ceilidh and cake! Thank you Britta Schmitz for this quick glimpse of the birthday bubbles and a toast by Jonathan Caddy, son of co-founders Eileen and Peter, to the future.
