Mark Richards founded Aurora Imaging in 1999, but his journey in photography spans more than 50 years, including work across advertising, PR, tourism, architecture, aerial, marine, and the arts.
Since moving to Findhorn in 2017, his focus has evolved toward more community-centred storytelling. Today, he works closely with local organisations, artists, craftspeople, therapists, and grassroots groups, creating imagery that is thoughtful, unobtrusive, and deeply attuned to people and place. Mark’s approach is grounded in collaboration and care, making his work especially suited to those working in the arts, ecological initiatives, and social or climate-focused movements.
