Taking the time to gather close to the winter solstice and the end of the year, we will explore how Open Floor movement practice can support the discovery and integration of what has been and who we are becoming.

We can then consciously bring those gifts with us as we move forward into the new year. Join us for a journey of reflection, release, and creative invocation. The solstice is a time of transition and potential transformation. As we navigate through turbulent and changing times in various aspects of our lives, we are encouraged to respond in new and creative ways.

The lightly held retreat offers a host who welcomes you to the community and can answer any questions you may have. Then you can explore at your own pace depending on what you want to do. Your host will support your stay and sign-post guests to the activities on offer. At the end of the retreat, there is a group sharing and completion opportunity to meet with the other guests and your host and share your insights and highlights and reflect with the group. The retreat price £495 includes: Self-catering accommodation in the bunkhouse.

Invited by Peter Caddy in 1976 to bring Sacred Dance to the community, Bernhard Wosien experienced the practice of  ‘Attunement’ a ritualised way of forming a circle, holding hands and ‘tuning in’.  This touched his heart and inspired him to develop an approach to dance that he first called ‘Stepping into Silence’ (Schreiten in die Stille).

From this beginning, Sacred Dance at Findhorn has grown and moved out into countries all over the world. On this 50th anniversary celebration, we invite you to join us as we celebrate our Sacred Dance practice from its beginnings to its path in the future.
